Waxier fruits and harder vegetables can sometimes hold on to pesticides better than other kinds, so it’s recommended that you give them a nice scrub with a vegetable brush before eating.

The sturdy birch handle and strong water-resistant union mixture bristles make it ideal for scrubbing and removing ingrained dirt from vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, and beets.

Care instructions: With a little simple care, the brushes will age beautifully. Clean the brushes with dishwashing liquid and warm water. Let them dry with the bristles facing down. Oil the wood from time to time with food grade oil using a cloth. Let the oil soak well into the wood before using the brush again.
